User Reviews

Reviewers praise Plank for beginner-friendly workouts, clear video guidance, and a useful weight-tracking feature that helps users exercise at home and build a routine. However, the major drawback is the pricing model: a short 3-day trial before a paid subscription, with unclear upfront costs. Some users also report difficulty canceling subscriptions. Despite these concerns, many users report real benefits in weight loss and fitness when using the app consistently.
Pros
  • Beginner-friendly and easy to use, with a simple structure that guides you through plank progressions.
  • Helpful instructional videos that improve form and help you learn planks quickly.
  • Weight-tracking feature to monitor losses and progress over time.
  • Can be used at home and fits into daily routines, supporting regular workouts.
  • Free workouts are available, offering accessible content without gym equipment.
Cons
  • 3-day trial followed by paid subscriptions, with pricing not clearly disclosed up front.
  • Pricing transparency is lacking and some users feel misled about free access.
  • Subscription management can be confusing or difficult for cancellation.

I think I might like this ap but I never really had a chance to give it a try. I liked the workout. I chose the very beginner level. It alternated between full arm, a rest period, then from the elbows. It counted down to get started so that you had a chance to get ready. It also sounded tones for the last 5 seconds. That part was good. What I didn’t like was that it was only a 3 day trial and you had to purchase more (monthly or yearly options were given) to continue. I try to check aps before I download them for any costs involved. I must have missed this one. Deleting the ap
