Recent reviews

For the initial setup one node was not connecting. Support staff was not sure what the next step was. Had to refer to something. First disconnect he called back but after about 15 minutes. During the calls I noticed the line would go severely quiet and I had to ask if they were still there. I went through 6-8 disconnections. You cant call back and get the same individual! This solidified my diagnosis They can only spend a limited time on the phone until auto disconnection by the system. They are also multitasking with other callers or online support. They rush you through to the next step because in my opinion they know they only have so much time left. Worst part I’m still not done with the setup because I got cut off again!!! Hire more support staff if you’re that busy and fix the “easy quick start guide”. It assumes you have had a previous ASUS router or have had a mesh router!

After latest update the WiFi is constantly dropping.

Router works OK for 5 or 6 weeks and then starts dropping devices and slowing way down. The router has to be powered off and on every time this happens. Router is patched with the latest firmware and this continues to be a problem. Find a better product if you’re buying now.
