I would never recommend Root Insurance to anyone. My experience has been extremely frustrating. My policy has increased multiple times, and now my renewal has jumped from under $300 to over $400 without what I believe is a reasonable explanation. The company claims to base pricing on driving habits, but I drive two different vehicles, and one is used primarily for work. I don't believe their driving data accurately reflects my actual driving, yet they continue using it to justify significant premium increases. To make matters worse, the renewal includes additional policy and legal language without clearly explaining what has changed or why my premium has increased so dramatically. It feels like the rules keep changing while customers are left trying to figure out why they're paying so much more. I expected fair pricing and transparency, but instead I experienced repeated rate increases with little clarity. My experience has left me feeling misled and disappointed. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
