User Reviews

Reviews show the app is free and often works for casting photos/videos with a clean UI and broad TV compatibility, including 4K support. Recurring negatives focus on slow or failing video conversion, intermittent connectivity, mislabeling of DLNA/server capabilities, onboarding/instructions gaps, and performance limits with very large photo libraries.
Pros
  • Free to use
  • Generally works for casting photos and videos with minimal setup
  • Clean, easy-to-navigate interface
  • Broad compatibility with TVs/devices (LG webOS, Hisense, Roku)
  • Supports 4K video
Cons
  • Video conversion can be slow or stuck; playback may fail
  • Connectivity issues: devices must be on the same network and tvs may not be found consistently
  • App description can be misleading about being a DLNA server, causing confusion
  • Onboarding/instructions could be clearer; users report following steps with nothing or needing extra apps
  • Limited performance with very large photo libraries (e.g., huge disks may not open)

Can’t even get past the subscription page. Made me mad that I wasted my time.

I was under the understanding that this was a dlna server, but if it is, it isn’t working for connecting the Roku media player as the client. I also tried the screen mirroring option on the Roku client which also didn’t work. UPDATE: The developer quickly clarified that this is only a client, not a server (thank you). Please also make this clear on the app description page since a search in the app store for “DLNA server” shows it as the second result, which lead to my spending time installing it and a lot of time trying to make it work. I have no interest in a DLNA client on the cell phone (and currently still don’t have a server) so I’m not sure how to re-rate this based on that, but for now will increase from 1 star to 3.
