Norton Family Companion App for iOS helps parents supervise and manage their child’s online activity beyond screen time. Install the app on the child’s iOS device and use features like School Time to support remote learning, Web Supervision to block unsuitable sites while staying aware of visited pages, Time Supervision to monitor device use, and Search Supervision to see what terms your kids are searching for. Video Supervision shows YouTube videos your child watches (not videos embedded on other sites). Instant Lock allows a quick break by pausing the device, and Email Alerts notify you when a blocked site is attempted.

Additional tools help you start conversations about safe online habits: Access Request lets kids message you when they disagree with a rule, and Monthly/Weekly Reports deliver activity summaries to your inbox. You’ll manage household policies from family.norton.com and adjust settings from my.norton.com; an account is required. Note that the mobile app must be installed on the child’s device, and Norton Family for Parents is downloaded separately to your device.

overall. solid app. works well. blocks bad sites. only thing is it has one small weakness. if a child were to disiable cellular data for the app and turn their wifi off. the app doesnt work but the phone is still usable. a bug fix would be to warn if a child accesses the settings app. overall great work and keep going! -norton user

Straight up it doesn’t work correctly if you want audit your children’s websites without getting in their way. There are three levels: block, warn and monitor. Even if you choose monitor, if will both block and warn. Even if you specifically allow the website and all associated categories, it will still block and warn. Yes, I resynced the app multiple times. I had the same issue across multiple children on multiple devices. I’m done trying to fix it and uninstalling it.
