Pros: friendly staff, good food, and clean locations. Cons: the Texas Dairy Queen app has recurring QR/receipt issues, a problematic rewards transition with poor communication, login crashes, inconsistent store acceptance, and several usability bugs that hinder earning rewards and using the app.

Pros

Friendly, helpful staff and good customer service across multiple locations.
Food is consistently good, hot, and made to order.
Restaurants are clean and well-maintained (including restrooms).

Cons

QR code/receipt scanning often fails and rewards points are not credited after visits.
Texas Dairy Queen rewards transition (2.8) caused loss of existing rewards and was not well-communicated.
Login issues and crashes (including Google sign-in) prevent regular app use.
Some locations don’t accept the Texas Dairy Queen app; customers are pushed to use the national DQ app instead.
Usability problems include difficult navigation, inability to upload receipt photos, and bugs like not being able to remove toppings.

Doesn’t work. Went to the Diary queen in San Benito Tx. They said they don’t use it anymore. Other stores say it’s only the Texas app. Make up your mind.
