What is OCR Scanner?

OCR Scanner is an optical character recognition (OCR) extension that enables users to extract and translate text from a snapshot. It can be used as a translation tool for reading protected pdf files on Chrome. This extension adds a button to your browser toolbar, allowing you to capture a snapshot of a selected region and then recognize and translate the text within that region to your preferred language.
