What is ooiyukari?

ooiyukari is a Chrome extension that enables the execution of local apps and passing of selected text. It acts as an intermediary between Chrome and Windows apps, allowing you to perform actions such as text-to-speech using Voiceroid or Bousyuichan. To use ooiyukari, simply select text in Chrome and click 'Execute Local App' in the context menu or assign a shortcut. Please download the ooiyukari_host program to have full functionality.

概要

ChromeからWindowsのローカルアプリを実行することができます。下記のようにして選択文字列を読み上げさせることができます。

ooiyukari（本拡張）→待受アプリ（後述）→ごにょごにょ→Voiceroid ooiyukari（本拡張）→待受アプリ（後述）→棒読みちゃん

以上のように本拡張機能が担うのはChromeからローカルに選択文字列を渡す部分に限ります（use Native Messaging）。ゆえに単体で動作するものではなく扱いがやや面倒です。その代わりに待受アプリが発行するコマンド次第でWindowsにインストールされた任意のアプリを実行することができます。

使い方

Chrome上で文字列を選択し、コンテキストメニューの「ローカルアプリを実行」をクリックします。「ローカルアプリを実行」はショートカットキーを割り当てることもできます。
