Review summary

User reviews are mixed. Many praise WiFi syncing and the ability to transfer iTunes playlists to Android, and view the app as easy to use. The recurring negatives focus on steep, recurring pricing, inconsistent syncing performance, trouble canceling subscriptions, dependency on a desktop component with limited cross-platform support, and security concerns regarding fraud/safe handling of payment info.
Pros
  • WiFi syncing works well
  • Can sync Apple/iTunes playlists to Android effectively
  • Generally easy to use with positive initial impressions (it's great; nice)
Cons
  • Very expensive weekly subscription pricing / perceived as a rip-off
  • Sync reliability issues (doesn't always work, slow, deletions/redownloads)
  • Difficulty canceling/unsubscribing from the free trial
  • Requires desktop component / cross-platform limitations (Chromebook unsupported, desktop app issues)
  • Fraud/security concerns (reports of credit card information being stolen / scams)

After Android 17 upgrade on Pixel 6a in late July, I cannot sync it with my iTunes on Windows 11. I have uninstalled and reinstalled iSyncs app paid version and iSyncr Desktop for PC. My Pixel shows iTunes library on my PC; however, after I select the playlists that I want, the app says Sync Started - Retrieving Playlist Information as usual. For example, it says Library 1 of 56, etc. But then it says "Unexpected errror: invalid response from server when getting songs in Playlist - error code 21

I have and isyncr perpetual license. After moving to a new phone, the old version had to be upgraded to the "new" version which does not honor the old license. Spending a long time researching this and installing and uninstalling is not something Something a customer should be doing when the developer should provides an upgrade path or notices to current customers. How do I activate the license? - Update 1. The company asks me to re-state my concerns in email without providing any email address.

The previous review was deleted cause I was honest about the app. can't use it till you sign up for a free trial, which turns into a recurring subscription. I said no thanks. people like me are tired of subscriptions for everything.
