American Burger & Steak House is not just a restaurant. A place where the American diner atmosphere, large portions, quality ingredients and the love of the guests come together.

Many say that this is where the best burgers in Budapest are. Guests come to us not only from the surrounding area, but also from further afield. Some people travel from Debrecen or Pécs, even in winter, in the snow, just to taste a real American burger or a huge tomahawk steak here.

The greatest joy for us is when we see that all ages find their favorite here. Among our youngest guests was one who tasted our slider at the age of 10 months, while our older regulars return to us regularly even after the age of 70.

The story of the restaurant began in a special way. Dani and his family came here as guests for years. They loved the American flavors, the brutal burgers, the burritos, the steaks and the relaxed atmosphere that the restaurant represented.

When the previous owners decided to move back to America, the question arose: who would take over this place? Dani and his foster father, Gábor, made a family decision. They saw it not only as a business opportunity, but also as a place that had been linked to them for years.

This is how the former regulars became the restaurant's new management team.

For us, hospitality is not about the grams, but about the experience. We believe that in a good American restaurant you should not only eat, but also feel good. A relaxed, friendly atmosphere, good music, large portions and a guest experience that feels like we have known each other for years await you.

Quality is our guiding principle.

We constantly check our suppliers and only work with those who represent the same level that we expect.

We use 100% beef for our burgers, which is freshly prepared and juicy in the bun. Our homemade sauces, made from our own recipe, give it a unique character, and our special burger creations offer flavors you won’t find anywhere else.

We offer specialty burgers, unique buns, as well as gluten-free, lactose-free, sesame seed, brioche and whole grain options.

And for steak lovers, we have a real challenge: our one-kilo tomahawk steak is made for those who want an unusual experience.

We don’t have “it’s going to be good this way”. If something doesn’t bring the quality we want to represent, we change it.
