User Reviews
Pros
- Effectively blocks/hides results by domain across Google and DuckDuckGo, cleaning up search results.
- Offers both blocking and highlighting options for domains, giving flexible filtering.
- Capable of handling large blocking lists (thousands of sites).
- Significantly improves research workflow and reduces clutter, often described as life-changing.
Cons
- Engine compatibility issues: Startpage (and some newer engines) are not reliably blocked.
- Blocking is incomplete: some results (top or sponsored) may still appear.
- Block list size limits and performance issues as the list grows (sync can choke).
Recent reviews
most of my duckduckgo searches been littered with ai generated slop, especially automotive searches. theres so much! they bury all the legit human written content im looking for, especially forum posts specific to the car im working on. duckduckgo only lets me block up to 5 sites, this extension lets me block the other, at the moment, i got 200 sites in my blocklist and more to come. if you wanna store that many, go into settings and check the "use local storage instead off sync" option, after like 130 sites i ran out of sync quota haha
