HN AI Source Filter Firefox

HN AI Source Filter

By: Ramones Add-on
Add an AI action to Hacker News stories and hide posts by marked authors or websites.

Features & Capabilities

As of writing this, HN is riddled with articles that are AI generated. The problem isn't AI, it's that theyre uncurated, and therefore not fact-checked. I like going through new, but the amount of slop there is not fun. I would like a simple filter button to skip these in the future.

Is HN AI Source Filter Safe?

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

HN AI Source Filter requires very minimum permissions.
