What is qTest Integration?
qTest Integration is a chrome extension that enhances the defect submission process from Tricentis qTest to popular enterprise agile planning tools and ALMs like Jira, VersionOne, and CA Agile Central. It enables invoking the defect submission interface from within the TestPad execution session, auto-fills test execution data into the issue fields, creates links in the new external issue back to the qTest test run. It supports Jira Software 4+, OnDemand & OnPremise deployments, CA Agile Central, VersionOne OnDemand, and Bugzilla 4.0+.

This plugin enhances the defect submission process from Tricentis qTest to popular enterprise agile planning tools and ALMs like Jira Software, VersionOne, and CA Agile Central (formerly Rally).

  • Invoking the defect submission interface from within the TestPad execution session.

  • Auto-filling test execution data like environment, steps to reproduce, name, etc. from the qTest test run into the external issue fields when being submitted.
