Pros
  • Works for mailto links within emails and on websites for some users.
  • Allows users to access Outlook O365 webmail instead of the slower Outlook app.
  • Can be configured to work perfectly once set up correctly.
  • Effective for Chromebook users when the default Gmail app is disabled.
Cons
  • Doesn't work for all users, with multiple reports of it failing.
  • May redirect to a corporate login page instead of personal Outlook page.
  • Requires manual configuration to limit access for optimal performance.
  • Still opens the default mail app for some users despite adjustments.
