Hide Cookie Bar Firefox

Hide Cookie Bar

By: shamot
Simple heuristic for locating and hiding cookie bars.

Features & Capabilities

This addon is very basic. It tries to locate cookie bar in first or last body element. It relies purely on word "cookies" within text. When such element is found, it hides it. You have icon in toolbar, which says wether it found such cookie bar. When you click it, you can toggle hide/display this bar. It doesn't accept or reject cookies in any way.

This is just first version. Some tweaks and little more features will come later. I did it because I am very frustrated of all the popups and overlays obscuring text on websites, especially on mobile browsers.
