i-dont-want-cookies

Removes annoying cookie banners from websites, without accepting them.

The i-dont-want-cookies Chrome extension removes intrusive cookie banners from your browsing experience without requiring you to accept cookies. Many websites use common cookie banner frameworks that disrupt your view or force complex navigation to refuse cookies. This extension detects a wide range of those cookie banners and hides them by applying CSS properties such as "display: none". It also reverses other obstructive effects like page dimming or scrolling blocks. While it can't guarantee a 100% success rate due to the evolving nature of cookie banner frameworks, it significantly reduces their presence across numerous sites, letting you enjoy a cleaner, distraction-free internet experience.

With i-dont-want-cookies, you regain control over your browsing by simply installing the extension, cutting down on needless interruptions and privacy intrusions without interacting with cookie consent prompts.

This addon provides special support common cookie blockers doesn't have. Unfortunately, often it blocks the nag screen but not the grey overlay (e.g. https://www.foto-erhardt.de/kameras/vollformat-kameras/nikon-z9-gehaeuse.html). Besides, it prevents other cookie blockers from doing their job... I am not much of a programmer, but very experienced in testing ad blocker addons for FF for about 10 years now. For years now "Adguard", "Super Agent" (has AI) and "I [still] don't care about cookies" (static list - always up to date) are outstanding winners for cookie consent. But I think the most honorable engine is included in "Cookie-Banner-Blocker" (otsmr) as it contains multi-level detection but continuing development is abandond by now. You should add the latter engine to yours and make an exception for Google explanation pages as reCaptchas as well (as Cookie-Banner-Blocker has a false positive there too). Then its likely your addon could become popular in a way like "Super Agent" or "Adguard" easily.
