Groups 'On the Bar' makes Firefox tab groups easier to save, organize, close, restore, and access later.

It works with Firefox's native tab groups while adding a persistent panel for managing them across browsing sessions.

Sync saved groups between Firefox installations using Firefox Sync. Customize group colors and icons. Export and restore group backups in JSON format. Interface available in multiple languages.

Privacy

Groups 'On the Bar' does not use analytics, advertising, telemetry, or developer-operated servers. Group synchronization uses Firefox Sync. Diagnostic information stays on your device unless you explicitly export it.

An optional desktop appearance package is available for users who want the bookmarks-bar shortcuts to visually match their Firefox tab groups. The core extension works without installing it.
