What is Go Back CE-7?

Go Back CE-7 is a Chrome extension that solves the issue of not being able to use the 'Back' button for links opened in new tabs. It enables quick navigation to the source tab or link, either in the current tab or a new one if the source tab is closed.

Link opened in new tab has not history. So you can not press button "Back". By this extension you can quickly move to source tab or if it closed to source link in current tab. Enable button will be displayed by green color, disabled by gray color. Just click on extension button to focus source tab. If source tab is closed then source link will be open in the current tab. For show back link in popup window just move mouse pointer to extension button.

Pretty close to what I was looking for. There is another similar app but that one doesn't work if the source tab is closed. It would be nice to integrate this function with Chrome's 'go back' button/shorcut
