Really good extension that works with multiple frameworks (Vue, React, Angular and a few others) or you can just emit events yourself. It is also possible to listen to the events meant for this extension from the web application during testing - and use these events to confirm the application works as expected, read in this blog post https://www.cypress.io/blog/2019/03/20/using-events-emitted-from-your-application-during-end-to-end-tests/
