Помогает обходить не нужные здесь и сейчас сайты стороной. Если у кого-то есть несознательный сын, рыскающий в интернете, можно попробовать установить что-то подобное, предварительно скрыв с панели доступа значок расширения. И, хочу отметить, можно блокировать youtube так, чтобы видео с хостинга могли открываться (через Яндекс видео), а сам сайт нет.
