2025-02-01 | For the first few weeks I was excited to see what this app had to offer (I got a year subscription). However after over a month of daily playing I've realized it's pretty meh. I'm hitting levels in the daily brain training that make it almost impossible to improve due to the difficulty and time limit and there are ZERO analytics on any improvements or areas of strength/weakness/etc. Less of a brain trainer and more of a time waster at a certain point.
2025-02-01 | Paid for annual premium access and only got 6 months! I got a new phone and when I opened the app on the new phone my email was suddenly "not recognized". Contacted the developer and play store, both denied any sort of refund. Worst part is I didn't mind the app as far as content. I would've given 4/5 because it did start to get boring after awhile. But they get a 1 for their poor customer service.
2025-01-29 | Improves more than I expected! The personality and IQ tests were eye opening. The challenges, though simple as they appear, truly challenge the elements of my brain that were in need of a good workout. The percentage grading system could use an update, as missing one answer downgrades me to the zero percentile. 🤔🤔 Beyond this, the game is awesome for mental acuity... I'm hooked, and you will be also.
2025-01-28 | 3 day trial that doesn't let you see your antic about your archetype, $50 for lifetime or pay a subscription. Are the haves worth it? Not trying I scored better than 90%, tired for the next two better then top 98% and 99%, don't really believe that, they were just so simply and easy. 92% off or lose this offer, close and see the offer 4 more times.
2025-01-27 | Purchased a one year subscription. Something happened on my phone that required a factory reset. After doing a clean setup and redownloading Impulse, now it says it can't find my account. My subscription shows up in the Google Play Store under the subscriptions section. Never should have bought this service.
2025-01-26 | When it comes to brain training apps, Impulse has designed effective, engaging exercises that target significant cognitive skills critical for successful functionality. With easy to understand, engaging exercises in a format accessible and affordable for most individuals, Impulse is well on its way to leading the pack in brain training programs!
2025-01-26 | I brought a year subscription, I've not experienced ads like others have mentioned. However, the games are short and there's no real score to see if you are improving. It's not really brain training, just 3 x 1 minute games a day. The tests are also generic, the personality test asked me a variation of the same question 10 times. I won't be renewing and will look for something that actually trains your brain more.
2025-01-25 | I might have found a use for this app but after the initial questionnaire that I provided the answer that I would like to improve memory functions, the very next screen asked me to enroll in a subscription with a free trial before I could continue. I found the probability of 3 days being enough to make any noticeable improvements unlikely, while I would probably forget to cancel the subscription if I was bored with the interactions on the app an almost forgone conclusion.
2025-01-22 | Using the free trial. $6.99/wk is way too expensive for anything that isn't required for me to live or something I'm addicted to. I don't even pay that much for my entertainment. YouTube plus is $7.99 and $17.99/mo for MAX, but that one I let lapse this month. I guess what I'm saying is that this is WAY too expensive for me... The 92% discount for the entire year at once that I couldn't leave the page. You think I'm dumb? Offer that at the end of the trial with no pressure and maybe.
2025-01-19 | I was getting concerned about my ability to remember certain events that happened on particular days. It seemed my timeline was fading. I looked on the playstore to find anything to exercise my brain and came across this app. It took me awhile to actually open the app and check it out, mainly because I didn't have that much faith that it would help. But once I did, and regularly do the exercises, it didn't take long for me to notice improvements in brain function. Thank you for this app! |
