Betclear: Block Gambling

BetClear blocks gambling and betting websites on your Android phone, so the next urge meets a blocked page instead of a bet slip.

HOW IT WORKS

BetClear uses Private DNS, a setting built into Android. Once it is turned on, every gambling domain on our blocklist stops resolving — in Chrome, in other browsers, and in apps that load web content. There is no VPN, no accessibility permission, and nothing running in the background draining your battery.

The app walks you through the setup in under two minutes and confirms when protection is live.

WHAT YOU GET

• Over 500,000 gambling and betting domains blocked, from casinos and sportsbooks to odds aggregators and affiliate sites
• The blocklist updates automatically — new sites are covered without you doing anything
• Protection that follows the phone, on Wi-Fi and mobile data alike
• A dashboard showing how long you have been protected and what you have not spent
• Encrypted DNS, so your queries are not readable on the network you are using

WHY IT IS HARDER TO UNDO

Removing protection means going into Android settings and changing the Private DNS entry yourself. That deliberate friction is the point: the moment you want to gamble is the moment you are least able to argue with yourself.

SUBSCRIPTION

BetClear is a paid subscription with a free trial. Monthly and annual plans are shown in the app with prices in your local currency. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and you can cancel any time in Google Play > Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the filtering at the end of the paid period.

ACCOUNT AND DATA

One account works across Android, iPhone, Mac and Windows. You can delete your account and its data from inside the app, or at https://betclear.app/delete-account.
