User reviews

Users praise the extension for its annotation capabilities, cross-browser compatibility, and usefulness for teaching. However, many express frustration over the mandatory and intrusive sign-up process, limited functionality in the free version, outdated interface, and performance glitches like freezing and slow saving. Requests for feature improvements such as shortcut keys, better pen input, and interface enhancements are common. The extension is seen as powerful but hindered by user experience and monetization issues.

Requires way too much personal info in order to sign up for the Annotate.net account (mandatory to use the extension)! Why do you need to know my salutation, first name, last name, and birth date? For that reason, I AM OUT!!!
