What is Internet Connection Alerter?

The 'Internet Connection Alerter' Chrome extension alerts users instantly when internet connection drops. This tool is useful while downloading large files where internet glitches could disrupt the process. With an option to 'Start Checking', this extension closely monitors your internet connection and triggers an alert sound when connection outage is detected. 'Acknowledge' button stops the alert while you can stop checking at your convenience. Primarily designed to minimize network consumption, the extension uses latency connections. This is an early version and looks forward to feedback for improvements.

We think this app could help you alert the moment wifi or ethernet drops. Once you install, click 'Start Checking' Button to monitor the internet connection.

If the internet goes down, a small alert audio will go on loop until you click 'Acknowledge' button. You can switch off the checking whenever you want...

We made sure to use two minimum latency connections to check your internet. So, Dont worry about network consumption...

P.S> Its a very initial version. It definitely have a lot of room for development. Please send feeback for bugs/improvements.

Seems to work well, but I wish it didn't make a sound every single second when the internet went down. I would rather have a customizable notification. Maybe making the alert longer without constant repeats or letting you choose a sound file to use as alert sound would have been nice.
