The Open Graph protocol enables any web page to become a rich object in a social graph. It can be achieved by placing numerous meta-tags in the page's header. Nice, Simple, Works. Really good for testing on a localhost development site. Shows the open graph preview in a simple popup when you click the extension button. AND doesn't need any unnecessary permissions or additional site access.
