Detent: Sliding Block Puzzle

Push a piece and it won't stop until it hits a wall, the edge of the board, or another piece. That's the only rule of this game. The goal is to get all your pieces onto the rings that don't move.

Sounds simple... right?

But when you play, you realize something else. You can't just put a piece where you want it. You often have to put other pieces in its way first, and consider how pieces can interact in unique and beautiful ways. The move that solves a level often looks like a mistake when you make it. You shove a piece off to the far side of the board, and a few moves later it turns out that was the only reason the other pieces were solvable. A piece already sitting on a ring might even be the one causing you trouble... and you may need to move it off to get pieces around it, or put it on another ring entirely. You build intuition over time, but the game will continue challenging you with the intricate solutions of these seemingly simple puzzles.
