The web can easily become overwhelming to people with Autism. That’s why we created Etisalat Wider Web to simplify the way some experience the web. The web extension is the first of its kind and curates the user experience to people who are on the autistic spectrum.
Etisalat Wider Web adopts a wide range of technologies in order to streamline the experience of autistic people on the web:
I just installed this extension a few days ago, and so far, I'm impressed! First off the extension comes with the ability to adjust the font the style and word spacing which helps out with people with ADHD which I have. The next customizable feature is the ability to change the color of the background with nine different color options which helps out not only if certain colors bother you, but can help people who are color blind and need a certain color for better readability. Finally, you have the content display which can adjust the page from to a more compact size if you don't want to be overloaded and overwhelmed with the amount of text on the screen.
Final words:
The only thing I would love to see added in the future would be the ability to add your own custom colors for the background and text. Other than that, this extension has all the features of the dark mode, and the ADHD readers into one extension.
