Adjust Video Brightness

The only problem with this extension is the lack of documentation. That's why so many reviews say it doesn't work. I thought it was broken as well, but was incorrect. It is true that clicking the icon does nothing, and there aren't really any settings in the extensions menu other than those which enable it. But if you look at the pictures, you will see that there is an icon in the upper left that has that sun symbol usually used for brightness. So what you need to do is load up your video, then you can click on that symbol in the upper left. Then you will be able to set all kinds of things including contrast and playback speed. I was thrown because at first this didn't show up either (had to reload the video page) and I was used to other extensions where this adjustment is done by clicking the pinned icon.

menu never appears, clicking on the icon only takes you to chrome store.
