I installed it because its the best way to implement a "unsharp filter" for online videos; although I have found that it doesn't work well in Firefox based browsers. This along with "Improve Youtube" and "Sponsor Block" are my must have extensions. An unsharp filter is not a sharpening filter; it enhances details by removing blur. You can paste the following code in svg filter option <feGaussianBlur in="SourceGraphic" stdDeviation="1" result="blur" /> <feComposite in="SourceGraphic" in2="blur" operator="arithmetic" k1="0.05" k2="1" k3="-1" k4="0" result="highPass"/> <feColorMatrix type="matrix" in="highPass" result="sharpened" values=" 2 0 0 0 0 0 2 0 0 0 0 0 2 0 0 0 0 0 1 0"/> <feBlend mode="normal" in="sharpened" in2="SourceGraphic" result="final"/>
