FetchV - Video Downloader for m3u8 & hls is an add-on that supports downloading streaming videos, merging and converting fragments, multiple resolutions, and concurrent downloading to improve speeds. It is particularly useful for HLS live streams and regular web videos played through m3u8, mp4, webm, etc. However, it cannot download encrypted HLS videos and temporarily occupies memory during operation.

well, would be great if "m3u8, live streams, mp4, webm, etc." include "blob:httрs://.." chunked video stream *without* m3u8 descriptor - exactly the case VLC cannot handle now. from other side, it has no built-in spam and neither begs for money nor bullshits with Intellectoilet® Property™ and other copyrastic idiotia propaganda. moreover, it has an user manual page with feedback form - have no idea how does it work/if it works at all, but the potential is really great.
