This video download extension actually works. (June 2026) As we all know video sites keep changing the back-end code to block remote downloads but GetVid is on it and they update as they tweak a fix. After a couple of try-outs on the free version I joined permanently. I like that they have a one-off lifetime payment option. The feedback button on the bottom of the float window actually links to a feedback form, and they respond. Recommend giving this a test-run. I'm happy to have found a downloader that works on many sites, including YT. ♡

I can’t understand that all positives reviews. It asks to have premium account to full use it ,otherwise only 15 minutes of video are allowed.
