Why FastWeb?

Some websites change domains, get blocked, or move to new addresses. FastWeb keeps a map of domain-to-alternate relationships so you never hit a dead end in search results. One click takes you to the working version.

Alternate domains — when a search result matches a domain in your list, FastWeb shows its official mirrors and alternates in a compact panel

Getting started

Install FastWeb
Click the toolbar icon to open settings (or use the sidebar)
Load the starter bundle or add your own domains
Search on any supported engine — alternates appear automatically
Pin the icon to the toolbar for quick access

Privacy-first

All data stays in your browser — nothing is sent to any server except the optional daily bundle sync
No analytics, no tracking, no telemetry
Prefetch only warms up connections (DNS/TCP/TLS), never fetches page content
Bookmark data is read locally, never transmitted
