QUEPAR

QUEPAR is the official app of the environmental monitoring program for rice straw burning in the Albufera Natural Park, managed by the CEAM Foundation for the Valencian Regional Government.

Before burning, check the forecast. The app shows the hourly atmospheric risk level, calculated by CEAM based on the predicted weather conditions, so you know when it is safe to start burning on your plot and when it is not.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Check the risk forecast for the next few hours without registering.

• Register with your ID and phone number to access the full forecast.

• Register a burn by selecting your plot by municipality, polygon, plot, and enclosure, using the cadastral data already loaded.

• Check the history of your own registered burns.

• Download the best practices guides for burning.

HOW THE RISK IS INTERPRETED

The forecast is presented in time slots with a color code. In green, dispersion conditions are favorable and burning is viable. In red, burning is not recommended: smoke would accumulate over nearby towns.

AVAILABLE IN SPANISH AND VALENCIAN

The application is displayed in the language you have configured on your mobile device, and you can change it at any time in the settings.
