This is a tool for photosensitive people (or people tired of overwhelming amounts of animation on the internet at large) to more safely browse the internet without traversing it like a minefield.
This extension finds any .gif, .png and .webp imagefiles on any webpage, determines if they are animated, and then replaces them with pre-paused playable versions. Additionally it attempts to pause and prevent video elements from automatic playback.
!!NOTICE!!

could do with a one click on/off button which would have immediate effect. This way it's a lot of work to turn it on/off. Lots of clicks and then having to reload the tab.
I checked "on click" for "Allow this extension to read and modify all your data from the sites you visit", so I expect it to stop the .gif just by clicking the addon icon, but it's active on every site and you have to click on the addon icon to disable it! Another very annoying thing is that the addon is not one click, after you click on the addon icon another icon appears with enable/disable option, it would be nice to single click on the addon icon to enable/disable it , one more click to do the opposite.
