The 'Salesforce Queue Updater' is a Chrome extension designed to address the lack of an auto-refresh feature in Salesforce's case queue view. It seamlessly integrates into Salesforce's user interface, with settings that remain stored in browser memory. Compatible with both Salesforce 'classic' and 'lightning', it also features adjustable refresh intervals, and optional audio notifications for case updates.

This Chrome extension does automatically updates the Case Queue View within in Salesforce - without updating the entire page.
Cases are sometimes missed by users because an auto-update feature is not supported natively by Salesforce. This extension shall fix this flaw.
Features:
-compatible with Salesforce "classic" as well as with "lightning"
-works even with different views of the case queue view (e.g. collapsed to the left side)
-menu/GUI is seamlessly integrated into the salesforce bottom bar - position:most-left.
-update/refresh intervals adjustable
-optionally "tick sound" which plays at each "refresh" action
-optionally "bing sound" on new cases (speechengine of browser)
-settings are stored permanently in the browser memory.
Works great for Salesforce Service Console (Classic). I just wish A) there was a Firefox extension as well, and B) That I could customize my refresh rate in seconds.
Very useful to keep our team queue updated. We use it on a big screen in our office landscape, with sound notification. It really contributes to awareness in a positive way.
A feature request: Possibility to choose custom audio signal (my colleague wants a Christmas tune). :)
