What is Beautiful Hieroglyphs?

Beautiful Hieroglyphs is a Chrome extension that replaces wikihiero images with higher quality alternatives. It utilizes fonts based on tuxscribe glyphs and the New Gardiner font to provide a historically accurate and visually appealing rendering of Ancient Egyptian writing. The extension's images are packaged within the extension itself, minimizing network overhead. Future releases will address remaining edge cases.

The images are packaged inside of the extension, so there are no additional network overheads from using it.

63 of the images are not currently replaced, These remaining edge cases will be fixed in future releases.
