What is DICOM image viewer?

'DICOM Image Viewer' is a Chrome extension that allows you to view medical images stored in DICOM P10 files. It supports online and offline viewing, CLI tool usage, provides an adjustable window center mode, and supports multi-frame and RGB DICOM files. It also offers different plane view modes. Please note that it isn't designed for clinical use and doesn't support DICOM video format or YBR Photometric DICOM.

After installation, to enable dragging offline files onto Chrome function, please

Open the Extension Management page by navigating to "chrome://extensions" (input this in the address bar)
Locate DICOM Image Viewer and click on the DETAILS button
Turn Allow access to file URLs switch on
