Everest is a Chrome extension called Orbit 2.0 that offers a material themed new-tab page. It allows users to see the time, date, weather, and forecast. They can customize color themes, add their own background photos, and even set custom search engines and speed dials for their favorite websites. Everest also ensures user privacy by only using location information for automatic weather setup and not sharing it with anyone.
