Bookmark Dial is a Chrome extension that transforms your bookmark folders into visually engaging thumbnails displayed every time you open a new tab. Unlike other speed dial extensions reliant on third-party web services, Bookmark Dial works solely within your browser, ensuring that your bookmark data remains private and only stored locally unless you opt into browser sync.

Users can easily manage thumbnails—dragging, dropping, and resizing them for optimal space use. Thumbnails are created from snapshots of bookmarked pages, which you can customize by scrolling or resizing the view before capturing. The extension supports background customization with colors or images and even allows the injection of custom CSS for a personalized experience. Bookmark Dial respects user privacy rigorously, collecting no data and offering simple options to report bugs or contribute via GitHub.

The "Toolbar Dial" Free simple no frills extension version is excellent for categorizing bookmarks into folders... I tested it on the Chromium Brave Browser by building 12 folders with 101 bookmarks on Windows 10 then synced it to my Lenovo Android tablet... Everything worked and that is what counts....The version with the color background/picturesneeds some work.... Does not show folders....
