DOM-XPath Firefox

DOM-XPath

By: Mitya
DOM-XPath is a simple add on that allows you to find elements in the DOM via XPath expressions. Found elements are highlighted and also logged to the console.

Features & Capabilities

DOM-XPath is a lightweight Chrome extension designed to simplify web development and debugging by allowing users to find elements within the DOM using XPath expressions. Once an XPath query is entered, the matching elements are highlighted directly on the page, making it easy to visually locate them. Additionally, the results are logged to the browser console for further inspection or scripting purposes.

Ideal for developers and testers, DOM-XPath streamlines the process of navigating complex web pages and verifying element locations without the need for bulky tools or extensions. Its straightforward interface and focus on XPath make it an essential utility for anyone working with HTML and DOM structures.

User Reviews

Very simple and useful, thanks! Could you please separate the "Clear" button to "Clear highlight" and "Clear XPath" (the second one maybe even redundant)? Because now it clears the highlight on the page and typed xpath. Also will be good to do "Evaluate" by Enter key if the input is focused. Thanks
