User reviews
Users appreciate Healthy Browsing's holistic health reminders that encourage better habits during screen time. However, a recurring issue is the unreliable or missing notifications, often limited to sound without visual cues, making it hard to distinguish reminders. Users want more control over reminder intervals, active hours, and notification management. Despite these shortcomings, many find the extension helpful and conceptually valuable for maintaining healthy browsing habits.
Pros
- Provides useful reminders for healthy habits like blinking, drinking water, stretching, and posture
- Helps users stay mindful of health while working for long periods
- Simple and necessary tool that fulfills its purpose
- Loved the concept and multi-aspect reminders
- Can motivate better health practices during screen time
Cons
- Reminders often only play sounds with no visual notifications or pop-ups
- Notifications are unreliable; many users did not receive reminders consistently
- Lack of customization such as inability to set manual intervals or stagger notifications
- No option for 'active hours' leading to backlogged notifications after inactivity
- Design and interface appear outdated and could be improved

The extension works as it is supposed to be and it has helped me work while staying healthy. I would appreciate it if there was an option to turn on where the notifications would not go away until closed manually. Other than that, it is nice!
