This plugin executes a blocking call on every single page load to a 91kb file on your harddrive (jQuery 1.9.0 minified). This means every single page will load about half a second later than it should depending on your hard drive speed.

Excellent, more developer-oriented version of something like GreaseMonkey. Setup is necessarily complex but you have lots of freedom to tweak once you're all set.
