The app frequently experiences issues detecting where you are, or what transport options you are nearby. for example at Nørreport station the apps only available check ins was metro and S-train, meaning boarding the regional train with a valid ticket was impossible until the app figured out where I was / what transport options it should present. this in turn caused me to miss the train, since I didn't want to board without a valid ticket. Took ~5 minutes before I could check in.
