What is High Contrast?

"High Contrast" is a Chrome Extension designed for ease of reading. It applies various high-contrast color filters to web pages, effectively inverting colors where black becomes white and vice versa. This feature can be toggled on/off at ease and is customizable per-site basis. Unlike other extensions, it does not interfere with the site's default colors, hence preventing webpage breakages. However, it doesn't affect photos, built-in pages like New Tab, Settings page, and the Chrome Web store.

Het ging mij om de vaak te lichte, slecht leesbare teksten op veel sites, en hij doet dat redelijk tot goed. Maar soms ook afbeeldingen worden helaas beïnvloed terwijl daar contrast niet nodig is. Ideaal zou zijn als dit gescheiden zou kunnen worden gekozen. Verbeterpuntje voor Google?

Helpful but very limited options. What's the point of enabling on a site with a white background if when I tab over to another black background, I get blasted in the face with white!? Let us set preferences for each site. Do it by domain name or something. My eyes and sleep schedule will thank you.
