RTF Viewer is a unique Chrome extension for conveniently viewing Rich Text Format (.rtf) files in the browser. Does not open rtf files on Linux Mint.

is it possible at all to open local files in chrome with this? Files in web urls seem to work, but even if I do a local directory index page and click on a file:// url like [file:///C:/Users/username/Desktop/Sample.rtf] it does a download instead of rendering.
