Krautreporter is an independent, advertising-free magazine in Berlin. Our mission: We help our members to better understand the connections between current affairs in politics and society.

As a member, you can listen to all of our articles and podcasts with the Krautreporter audio app. Hear the long, deeply researched pieces that you don't have the time to read for. And: you won't miss anything anymore.

We employ three strategies in our journalism:

- We report as individual personalities, each with their own attitude, which we make transparent.

Krautreporter is financed exclusively by its members and is supported by the Krautreporter-Genossenschaft. The KR editorial team is characterized by a particularly trusting relationship with its members. We tell the stories behind the news - with calm, care and time for thorough research.
