Zeitwerk

Zeitwerk is Zeitwerk's time tracking app. It complements the employer's web interface with mobile access: clock in and out on the go, check your time account, and request absences.

Features

• Clocking in: Enter your time, clock out, and take breaks with a single tap. Clocks taken offline are saved and automatically added as soon as a connection is available.

• Daily overview: Clocked times, breaks, and the current day's results at a glance.

• Monthly overview: All days of a month with target, actual, and balance of the time account.

• Absences: Request vacation, sick leave, and other absences and track the status of your requests.

• Approvals: Managers can process open requests and make corrections directly in the app.

• Login via login code: A code is generated in the web interface under "My Account – Devices" and scanned in the app. Alternatively, you can log in with your email address and password.

Location
If the employer records clock-in locations, the app requests the location when clocking in and transmits it to its own Zeitwerk instance. Permission can be denied; clocking in will then still be possible without specifying a location.

Requirements
The app requires an account in a Zeitwerk instance. The employer creates the accounts; there is no registration within the app itself. The app cannot be used without such access.

Data Privacy
The data is stored exclusively in the employer's Zeitwerk instance. There is no advertising, no analytics services, and no sharing with third parties.
