As a patient, you will be invited to use the DiGA1 app by health professionals or health insurers.
Patients are important contributors to their own health. On the one hand, your active contribution significantly improves the process and the quality of the recording of medical information as part of the medical treatment. On the other hand, your security as a patient is increased because you are better informed about your illness and actively involved in the treatment process through daily interaction with the app.
The app is prescribed for clearly defined indications and is used both to prepare for initial consultations and to accompany you between appointments.
You will be supported by the app before appointment with your doctor and asked about your medical history as well as current symptoms via an intelligent chatbot. Between the doctor's appointments, you will be accompanied through everyday life with the chatbot and further information in order to actively shape the course of your recovery, as well as practice independent disease management overcoming any language barriers with health professionals.
With the app, you receive appointment confirmations and reminders from your doctor as well as questions about your state of health, quality of life or disease-specific symptoms. The DiGA1 automatically creates a summary report from this and transmits it directly to your doctor, who is thus optimally prepared for your next consultation. Such optimal communication between health professionals and patients with their active participation is the basis for the best possible treatment success in medicine.
