DiabApp

DiabApp is the new Action Diabètes application for Valais (Switzerland). Created by health professionals, expert patients and caregivers, its objective is to strengthen the quality of monitoring of diabetic patients.

The application is first and foremost designed for the patient. During a consultation, a lot of important information is discussed. Often it is difficult to remember all the points discussed.

DiabApp makes it possible to concisely and efficiently collect central information transmitted by a healthcare professional as well as by the Google Fit or Apple Health health applications (Activity and Fitness, Nutrition and Weight Management, Diseases and Conditions Management).
The patient then has them available on their phone, and can reread them, discuss them with their loved ones, and above all share them with their healthcare professionals.


DiabApp is supported by Promotion Santé Suisse as well as several Valais umbrella associations of health professionals.


The application aims to be the tool to strengthen the continuum of care. Thanks to better visibility of the overall state of health of the patient and their network of professionals, interprofessionality and patient support are facilitated.
