CatMessenger

School communities remain virtually connected with each other via the Cat4School® CatMessenger. Teachers, pupils and parents send and receive messages and files with CatMessenger in a secure manner in compliance with data protection.

The CatMessenger offers very special features that are important for the education sector:

- Invite participants temporarily

- Automatic translations

Sending messages, surveys, text files, video files or audio files is as easy as embedding links in individual chats or in whole groups.

The CatMessenger respects the privacy of the users: the registration for the CatMessenger takes place via codes that are distributed by the school to the authorized persons. So the use is independent of telephone numbers.

Usable synchronously on tablet / smartphone: The data is easily accessible from various devices. It is impossible to lose the data!

For elementary schools, community schools, vocational schools, secondary schools and high schools, digital communication is possible on a completely new level.

Moderated chats
Parents can send a "conversation request" to teachers and school staff stating the matter. The transmission takes place via a push notification. The chat can only begin once the teacher has approved the request. The chat can also be paused or closed by the teacher at any time. The participants are informed about the respective status by push.

Digital "round table"
Participants can be temporarily invited to moderated chats and unloaded again. The participants only see the history of the conversation for the period in which they were added. This can include other legal guardians, other teachers or other employees, such as from school social work. The function of the temporary and moderated group chats is unique on the market and offers optimal exchange, consultation and consultation options for all those involved in school life, with simultaneous comprehensible documentation.

Integrated survey tool
An extensive survey tool integrated into the messenger with a wide variety of question types (checkbox, multiple choice, free formulations, etc.) enables simple and quick organization of parent-child consultation days or feedback on content, for example answering homework or collecting open questions from students about learning content.

Translations
All texts that you send via CatMessenger can be translated into 43 languages. The source language is automatically recognized so that it can also be translated back into German.

Communication periods
In CatMessenger, every user can specify for each day of the week in which period they want to be informed about new messages by means of push notifications and when they do not want to be disturbed.
The special feature: These push notifications are held and subsequently delivered in accordance with the settings of the individual user, without the sender having to worry about it.
The school can set a minimum time period for push notifications for each day of the week, which the user can extend but not reduce.
